Why does my cycles render 3D model not showing in ZBrush?

Your Cycles-rendered 3D model may not show in ZBrush due to incompatible file formats or incorrect export settings from your Cycles software (e.g., Blender).

Cycles is a render engine—if you exported a flat render (PNG/JPG) instead of an editable 3D model (OBJ, FBX), ZBrush can’t load it (ZBrush needs model data, not images). Bad export settings (e.g., missing geometry) also cause issues.

Fix it by exporting the **model** (not the render) as OBJ/FBX from your Cycles tool, ensuring it includes all data (geometry, UVs). If it still fails, re-export with default settings to rule out errors.
