Why wall thickness 3D model is stringing in SLA?

Stringing in SLA 3D models with thin wall thickness usually occurs because thin structures can’t effectively drain excess resin or support partially cured material, leading to residual resin stretching into strings between layers. Thin walls have less surface area to shed uncured resin, so leftover material stays on the model and cures into strings when the build plate lifts. Uneven curing in thin walls can also leave soft resin that pulls into strands as the plate moves. To fix this, try increasing wall thickness to your resin’s recommended minimum (usually 0.8–1.2mm) or slowing the lift speed to let excess resin drip off before the next layer cures.
