Why metallic 3D model is missing in Substance Painter?

Metallic properties in your 3D model may be missing in Substance Painter if the Metallic channel is disabled, relevant layers are hidden/locked, the texture set lacks metallic data, or UVs are incorrect.

- The Metallic parameter is often set to 0 (non-metallic) by default, so it won’t display. - Masked or locked Metallic layers hide their effect. - Poor UV unwrapping stops metallic textures from mapping properly.

To fix this, enable the Metallic channel in Material Properties, unhide/unlock Metallic layers, and ensure your texture set includes the Metallic map (Texture Set Settings > Channels). If UVs are wrong, re-export the model with properly unwrapped UVs.
