Why is my wall thickness 3D model stringing?

Stringing in 3D model wall thickness (thin, unwanted strands) happens when molten filament oozes between printed lines or layers. Common causes include high nozzle temperature, insufficient retraction, or moist filament.

- High nozzle temp: Keeps filament too liquid, causing drips during nozzle moves. - Insufficient retraction: The printer doesn’t pull filament back far enough, leading to oozing between prints. - Moist filament: Trapped water turns to steam, forcing filament out unintentionally.

To fix it, lower the nozzle temperature by 5-10°C, increase retraction distance by 1-2mm, or dry filament (like PLA/PETG) in a dehydrator for 4-6 hours.
